Far Hills Country Hotel George

After a 5 or so drive from Cape Town we were looking forward to a relaxing get-a-way. We arrived to a warm friendly welcome and after a quick refreshing drink at the bar we were escorted to our quaint little room.

The views from our private balcony was spectacular and the room warm and inviting. At the time of our visit they were still doing major renovations to the hotel yet still never got in the way of our quiet time away.

The staff was professional and extremely helpful. The food was superb and the prices respectful.

The grounds are also good for special function ie weddings etc

Notes:

For a romantic get-a-way take a blanket and bubbles with.

Tips:

George can be hot and dry, drink lots of water.
