1st Stop - Pickup Point

You will be collected for your day of fun, amazement and excitement from the V & A Waterfront or your hotel nearby to start your exciting tour of the beautiful Cape Winelands

2nd Stop - Stellenbosch

You travel along the N1 into Stellenbosch. What awaits is a beautiful little town rich in Dutch colonial history and surrounded by vineyards.

The town then became known as the City of Oaks or Eikestad in Afrikaans and Dutch due to the large number of oak trees that were planted by its founder, Simon van der Stel, to grace the streets and homesteads.

3rd Stop - Asara Wine Estate

After learning about the beautiful town of Stellenbosch you head of to Asara Wine Estate for your first wine tasting.

Making magnificent wines is first and foremost what Asara is all about, and we welcome visitors to our wine-tasting centre to sample our established favorites as well as our exciting new wines.

4th Stop - Waterford Wine Estate

For a wine and chocolate pairing you now visit Waterford Wine Estate.

Waterford Estate is situated in the picturesque Blaauwklippen Valley, in the world renowned Stellenbosch region. At Waterford Estate we have chosen to use only half of the total 120Ha of land for the planting of vines, in order to preserve and maintain the natural fauna and flora on the Estate.

5th Stop - Drop Off

After an exciting day of discovery we find our way back to the V & A Waterfront or your hotel nearby.

This tour will not only afford you the opportunity of tasting some of the best wines from the heart of the Cape winelands but will also allow you to enjoy the rich history and architecture of this unique area.

Discover our humble beginnings from the arrival of the Dutch and then the French Huguenots who shaped our unique culture and that of our wine industry. Visit some farms in the Stellenbosch region. We believe in encouraging the traveller to experience our culture first-hand by arranging a walk through scenic Stellenbosch with its Dutch styled buildings and oak lined avenues.
