Nekkies Resort Worcester

My concept of a resort is pools, cocktail bars and massages. Before you book your unforgettable get-a-way at Nekkies Resort in Worcester you first need to understand that this is not that sort of resort. It's a municipal resort. This means its everything your expect without everything you expect.

The 2 bedroom cabins are cute and affordable. Most of them sleep 6 people. You can however book for 2 or 4 people as you pay per person. Weekends the resort is quite busy and alive with people and activities.

It was refreshing to watch kids playing on their skateboards without having to worry about being run down.

Our cabin had 6 single beds, some with a foam mattress and some with spring. There is only 1 duvet on each bed. A small box TV stands elevated in the corner with all 4 open channels. The balcony leads to some plastic table and chair and a gorgeous view.

Unfortunately for us our neighbours had no respect for anyone and enjoyed their music from sun rise to sun rise, with bouts of singing on their balcony's.

It felt like a safe environment for the kids to wonder around while the adults spent time with each other, braaing and chatting.

The dam is a great place to spend some time especially if you have a boat or rubber dingi to play with.

If you looking for a get-a-way for peace and quiet this is not the place. If you wanting an affordable holiday for a group of friends that are not interested in sleeping and enjoy loud music I highly recommend Nekkies Resort in Worcester.

Notes:

If you want to use it, bring it. That goes for soap or cutting knives etc. Bring bug repellent.

Expect nothing and you will have a great time.
